Magna Publications is now accepting proposals for the Teaching with Technology Conference, to be held October 6–8, 2017 in Baltimore, Md.
The Teaching with Technology Conference was formerly known as The Teaching Professor Technology Conference. Each year since 2013, The Teaching Professor Technology Conference has brought together educators and tech-savvy professionals to explore effective ways to use technology as a teaching tool. But times and needs change. To explore new ways that technology can facilitate teaching and learning, the original conference has been reinvented as the Teaching with Technology Conference.
As the new name suggests, the focus of this freshly designed and recharged event is to explore effective approaches for integrating technology into teaching and learning, assemble engaging speakers, provide enriching professional development, and gather like-minded professionals for refreshing collegial networking that the higher education community has come to expect from The Teaching Professor events.
For the 2017 Teaching with Technology Conference, we seek experience-based and evidence-based proposals that engage and inform attendees.
Experience-Based Proposals reflect a technology-as-tool approach to pedagogy with immediate take-away applications for conference attendees.
