MediaCore video education platform announces Moodle plug-in at Campus Technology 2013

MediaCore, the cloud-based video education platform, is announcing at Campus Technology 2013 a new plug-in for Moodle the most widely-used Learning Management System in the world. Universities and colleges that use MediaCore can create and access multi-media content from any mobile device or PC, providing students with flexible anytime, anywhere learning.

MediaCore’s Moodle plug-in has led to a partnership with the Moodlerooms whose users can now easily embed videos, audio, documents and images into posts and pages from their MediaCore library in one-click. Restrictions on file size, storage and file types within Moodlerooms are no longer a problem and users can choose who views the video with MediaCore’s flexible permission system.

MediaCore is also announcing a new plug-in for the WordPress blogging platform which has led to its first WordPress partnership with Edublogs which is used by more than 1.7 million educators worldwide. Edublogs users can now browse, search and upload videos from their computer directly into their posts and store them in MediaCore which provides fast, high quality playback in all browsers and on mobile devices.

Both Moodle and WordPress plug-ins are available for existing MediaCore users or new users can sign up for a FREE educator account and access today.

MediaCore’s Education Team will also be demonstrating new features including the ability to upload, organize and share documents alongside other media in an intuitive HTML5 viewer. The software renders PDF’s and all MS Office documents for a seamless viewing experience in a user’s browser and on all mobile devices.
